Herend Porcelain – Hungary’s only luxury brand at the forefront of Europe
2026. January 19.
Since 2010, the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA) has brought together Europe’s leading luxury and creative brands with the aim of jointly strengthening art, culture, and innovation.
The alliance unites prominent organizations from seven countries: Italy (Altagamma), Spain (Círculo Fortuny), France (Comité Colbert), Sweden (Gustaf III Kommitté), Portugal (Laurel), Germany (Meisterkreis), and the United Kingdom (Walpole).
Together, these organizations represent 750 brands and cultural institutions, embodying the highest standards of the European luxury industry.
In its latest study focusing on Hungary, the alliance highlights Herend porcelain as the sole centre of excellence among luxury brands. Moreover, Herend is the only Hungarian member of the French luxury industry association, Comité Colbert, further reinforcing its international recognition. Built on continuous innovation, uncompromising quality, highly skilled master artisans, and a strong international presence, Herend offers its products, services, and experiences worldwide.
